A promotional video released by Mercedes-AMG via YouTube last month showed the amazing performance of the Mercedes G63 AMG in a harsh weather condition, particularly in a snowy climate. In the video above, one can see the enhanced G-Class, together with the C63 AMG and the E63 AMG S models, conquer the snow-capped mountain with its high engine output and strong traction. The conquest was made possible by the 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine with direct injection of the Mercedes G63 AMG. The YouTube channel of Mercedes-Benz Vans uploaded a new ad for the Vito last October 2. The title of the video was “Dirty Driving”. If you think that the Mario Kart 8-themed ad of the Mercedes-Benz GLA was hideous enough, this ad would probably top it off in terms of weirdness. While I had so much respect and admiration to the marketing division of the three-pointed star brand for bringing up awesome ads, this is just another proof that they are only human and they can also have their epic-fail moments. The assessment of the top car brands in the world was facilitated by eBench. The period covered was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The automakers that were included in the study, aside from Mercedes-Benz, were Audi, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus and Land Rover. In celebration of hitting the 2 million video view mark, the official Mercedes AMG YouTube channel released a special thank you video. While the rationale for having a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe drift haphazardly through some Laguna Seca corners escapes us, it’s a nice little showcase of the raw power and ability of the C63. The reception to the video hasn’t been very warm, with just over 32,000 views as of the time this article was written.
