Hofele Design Becomes a Contractual Partner of Mercedes-Benz

It’s been a while since we last heard from Hofele Design. Recently, the German tuner announced that they have partnered with Mercedes-Benz. According to Hofele, they have become a contractual partner of Daimler AG for its Mercedes passenger cars last January. After seeing the likes of the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 and Mercedes-Benz G-Class getting upgrades from the tuner, they are now turning their attention towards the saloon models of the German automaker. Posaidon Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet Can Go 0-62 MPH in Just 2.9 Seconds

Posaidon recently unveiled its new tuning package for the Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet. The engine upgrade allows the convertible to take off from 0 to 62 mph in a whopping 2.9 seconds. Crunching the Numbers Posaidon chose the pre-facelifted version of the AMG S-Class Cabrio that bears a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine. The original configuration of the power unit produces 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. However, adding the upgrades from the German tuner raises the stakes at 1,005 hp with 1,033 lb-ft of torque. A new Mercedes-Benz prototype was recently spotted while it was undergoing testing. The four-door vehicle is suspected to be the all-new Mercedes-Benz EQS electric vehicle (EV), which will sit on top of the EQ sub-brand.
