Headrests of Mercedes F1 Cars Enhanced

Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One team announced that they will be enhancing the headrests of their race cars. The move is to avoid the repetition of the problem that caused Lewis Hamilton to lose the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. A victory by Mercedes F1 driver Hamilton last Sunday would have let him to secure the number one spot in the drivers’ rankings of the organization. McLaren F1 Will Go Back to Mercedes Engines in 2018

McLaren finally had enough of their engine partner in Formula One. Due to the team’s disappointing performance this season, McLaren F1 is reportedly switching back to Mercedes engines in 2018. There were already seven races held this year in F1. So far, McLaren is yet to score a point with their Honda engines. The Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team just had an amazing weekend. First, the drivers of Mercedes F1 team both dominated the event with a 1-2 finish. The race in Canada marked the 56th career win of Lewis Hamilton. The event was also where the Briton got his fourth Grand Slam victory for claiming the pole position during qualifying, having the fastest lap plus leading every lap in the race, and eventually emerging triumphant in the end. Lewis Hamilton took home the win at the 2017 Spanish Grand Prix, thereby breaking a streak of 10 different winners by becoming the sole repeat winner in the last 11 years. Valtteri Bottas emerged victorious in the 2017 Formula One Russian Grand Prix. The event marked the second win of Mercedes AMG Petronas this season and the Finn’s first win in his F1 career.
