Spy Shots Show Barely Covered 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS with minimal camouflage was spotted recently while it was being tested close to the headquarters of the company in Stuttgart, Germany, as indicated on a report from worldcarfans.com. The images gave the best look of the face-lifted GL, which will be renamed for the next model year as part of the latest nomenclature of the company. Since the GLS test mule was barely covered, industry watchers are expecting the official launch to be coming soon. Mercedes is yet to unveil the successor of the GL, which is the GLS. But recently, spy shots of the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 have began surfacing already online. In the spy pictures released through GTSpirit, the SUV could be seen with minimal camouflage. The covered portions are the bumpers, lights grille and logo. A new spy video of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS makes its way on the Internet again. The video shows the upcoming SUV of the three-pointed star brand with very minimal camouflage. This time, the wrap only covers the auto’s bumpers, lighting systems, grilles and badges. The hood is visible now, showing us the fine lines in the bonnet of the SUV. MKB recently made a successful heart transplant to the Mercedes-Benz GL. By that, we mean the tuner replaced the engine of the SUV to raise its power significantly. The Mercedes GL lineup only offers the V6 and V8 engines up to its range-topping model, which is the Mercedes GL 63 AMG. According to Evocars Magazine, MKB took a GL 500 model and gave it a power upgrade.
