Mansory Unlocks The Beast Within The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance

Mansory’s choice of body kits for its Mercedes-Benz projects may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no arguing that it produces the best engine tuning kits out there. Recently, the tuner unveiled its masterpiece for the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance with a massive powertrain upgrade.

The New Body Kit

As mentioned, Mansory is somehow notorious for its over-the-top decisions in terms of exterior customizations, especially involving Mercedes luxury vehicles. So, it comes as no surprise that most traces of Mercedes’ design philosophy in this S-Class plug-in hybrid (PHEV) have been replaced with exceedingly aggressive aero components.

The customization includes a new body kit featuring a new front grille with wider gaps, carbon fiber hood with Naca vents, DRLs, bumper lip spoiler, prominent side gills, rear diffuser with F1-inspired brake light, sports exhaust, and a set of 22-inch Type FD.15 Black Diamond forged alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the interior benefits from high-quality leather surfaces with personalized stitching plus carbon highlights, aluminum pedals, and special floor mats.

Powertrain Upgrade

The best part of all these is the tuning package provided by Mansory to the S 63 E Performance. In its stock configuration, the electrified 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the model produces an output of 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft of torque.

With the Mansory tuning kit focused on the car’s internal combustion engine (ICE), the numbers are increased to 868 hp and 1,099 lb-ft. The figures result in a sprint of 2.8 seconds from zero to 62 mph on the way to a top speed of 199 mph.

Pricing of the Mansory Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance

Mansory didn’t publicly disclose the pricing of its latest build for the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance. It should be noted that a brand-new unit already costs €208,393 or $228,908, so expect the price to go north from here.
