Over the years, Brabus is usually the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind when it comes to Mercedes-Benz tuning. Recently, the specialist proudly announced that it bagged the distinction of being the best tuning brand in Germany based on an auto motor und sport magazine poll.

Brabus, the renowned German car tuning company, has once again been named the top tuning brand in Germany. In the recent poll conducted by auto motor und sport, Brabus received more than half, or 57.9%, of the total votes in the poll conducted for the best brand in the “Tuning” category. This makes the company a 17-time recipient of the prestigious award.

A Leader in High-Performance Vehicles

Brabus traces its history in 1977, which makes it over 45 years old by this year. Ever since, the company has built its name on providing different builds for legendary supercars based on Mercedes-Benz and its AMG and Maybach variants. It’s also known for its works involving smart vehicles under the three-pointed star group.

The company has been accredited as a vehicle manufacturer with the German Federal Motor Transport Authority in Flensburg, and it has successfully integrated tuning packages in different vehicles with outputs topping up to 662 kW/900 hp. In 2022, Brabus added the first supercar it created from scratch, the dune racer called the Brabus 900 Crawler based on the Mercedes-AMG G63.

A Broad Range of Exclusive Tuning Products

Brabus provides its products and services for different customers and business partners in and out of Germany. Right now, the brand has made its mark in over 100 countries around the world.

The different offerings of the German tuner include different stages of performance upgrades for Mercedes automobiles. It also produces widebody kits featuring aerodynamic enhancements from the Brabus Design Studio plus alloy wheels and hi-tech forged rims in various designs measuring up to 24 inches in diameter. Additionally, the specialist offers elaborately tuned suspension components. Meanwhile, the world-renowned Brabus Masterpiece focuses on revitalizing the cabin of vehicles using high-end leather covers with special quilting, carbon or aluminum inserts, special mats, illuminated door sills, and more.

Expanding Its Reach

Brabus has expanded its product range to let more drivers enjoy the hallmark Brabus One-Second Wow Effect. The company now extends its products to selected vehicles from Porsche and Rolls-Royce.

Furthermore, Brabus has expanded its activities beyond exclusive automobiles in recent years. The company has grown into a leading luxury mobility brand in other fields as well, including exclusive boats from Brabus Marine and high-end fashion items from the Brabus Collection. Brabus also designs exclusive limited-edition watches in cooperation with Panerai, and KTM is the partner for the luxury motorbikes of the Brabus 1300 R series.

Masterful Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail

The Brabus Classic 6-Star Restoration for vintage cars has long set the bar when it comes to masterful craftsmanship and attention to detail. As a result, they never fail to attract a great deal of attention from hardcore collectors.

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing rebuilt by Brabus Classic from the ground up, which was auctioned in New York not so long ago, was a testament to the brand’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. It should be noted that the same vehicle once posed for a famous work of art by pop art icon Andy Warhol in his “Cars” series.

A Statement from the Brabus CEO

Brabus CEO Constantin Buschmann expressed his pride and delight in winning the award. He said, “This vote first and foremost affirms our tireless pursuit of design, luxury, and perfection. And the award expressly honors the professionalism of our team, which puts its mark on the Brabus brand with its outstanding work. We will do everything in our power to continue to meet the high expectations of us in the future.”
