2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB Electric Vehicle Recorded During A Test Drive

Giancarlo Perlas March 12, 2023

Mercedes-Benz is set to give its popular EQB electric vehicle a minor overhaul for the 2024 model year, with some changes expected to happen on the car’s exterior, interior, and powertrain. Recently, the car was spied on during testing in its home court.

On the outside, the EQB is about to receive a facelift that will bring it in line with Mercedes’ latest design language. This could mean new headlights, taillights, and a revised faux grille based on the level and positioning of the prototype’s partial camouflage.

As shown in earlier spy shots that take a peek at its interior, there are not so many updates going on in its cabin except the noticeably new multi-function steering wheel with a twin-louver layout for its spokes and more seamless integration of its controls. There may be more than meets the eye here as the pieces of loose black fabric covering some areas are obviously hiding something, especially on the part of the central touch control.

Under the hood, the EQB is expected to receive a little update to its powertrain. If the rumors are true, this might include changes to the car’s battery and electric motor, which could improve the car’s range and performance. It is also possible that Mercedes will offer a higher-performance version of the car, too, with a little power boost.

The facelifted Mercedes-Benz EQB EV will probably break cover within this year. As mentioned, it will bear a 2024 model year when it rolls out in the dealerships.
