2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe Spied On The Road

Giancarlo Perlas February 8, 2023

The Mercedes-Benz CLE was once again spied on the road. The car is shown in heavy camouflage to hide almost all of its key exterior styling.

The CLE is a new range in the Mercedes lineup that’s designed to consolidate the coupe and convertible models of the C-Class and E-Class. The video from walkoARTvideos here features the coupe variant of the series. Based on the single louver on its front grille, we are looking at the Benz version of the car.

The new CLE is expected to debut this year. Mercedes is tight-lipped on the launch and features of the car as of writing though.

From the looks of it, the CLE will be heavily based on the outline of the outgoing C-Class coupe and convertible models. Meanwhile, it will also adopt many luxurious elements found in the outgoing E-Class coupe and convertibles. The convertible model of the range, in particular, shows some resemblance with the last generation of the SL.

When it comes to the interior, a previous set of spy shots revealed that the CLE will carry over the same dashboard layout and tech found inside the current C-Class. It’s highlighted by a multi-function steering wheel, large instrument cluster display, and huge, portrait-oriented, central touchscreen.

As for the powertrains, the Mercedes-Benz CLE will most likely get the same offerings found in the C-Class. With that, expect nothing less than a mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine under the hood of its base model with over 255 hp.
