2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Crossover Price Revealed

Giancarlo Perlas July 14, 2022

The 2023 model year Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Crossover is now available for order in Germany. The prices start at 57,631.70 euros ($57,789.61 based on prevailing conversion rates).

The GLC SUV just released its second-generation model in June this year. The GLC range came as a replacement for the GLK-Class in 2015 and has been the best-selling vehicle under the Mercedes-Benz brand in the past few years.

The latest generation features cleaner and smoother surfaces that embody the three-pointed star marque’s “sensual purity, intelligence, and emotion” design philosophy. It is also highlighted by a mild hybrid setup, new onboard tech, and a more agile body having a better drag coefficient at 0.29 cd than its predecessor’s 0.31 cd.

New Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV Trims

The new generation of the GLC SUV is currently available in three trims in Germany with three more coming soon, including a plug-in hybrid model, and a couple of yet-to-be-confirmed AMG models. Meanwhile, the US will only get two choices for the SUV in its dealerships.

Going back to the GLC SUV models in Europe, the current offerings include:

1. Mercedes-Benz GLC 200 4MATIC (Starting at $57,631.70, Including VAT)

The GLC 200 4MATIC with a petrol-fed 2.0-liter inline-four engine producing 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque plus a 200 Nm torque boost coming from a mild hybrid EQ system. The setup allows the auto to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds and gun up to a max speed of 221 km/h.

2. Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC (Starting at $68,240.55, Including VAT)

The GLC 300 4MATIC has the same engine as the GLC 200 but with outputs at 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque plus a 200 Nm torque boost from the EQ tech. The SUV can go 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and go up to 240 km/h.

3. Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d 4MATIC (Starting at $60,237.80, Including VAT)

The GLC 220 4MATIC is equipped with a diesel-fed 2.0-liter inline-four engine capable of 197 hp and 440 Nm of torque plus a 200 Nm torque boost from the EQ mild-hybrid system. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and it tops at 219 km/h. This is the most frugal among the three with only 5.9 and 5.2 l/100 km WLTP fuel consumption ratings in city and highway drives, respectively.
