AMG celebrates its 55th anniversary this year. To mark this event, the three-pointed star marque released the Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA45 Edition 55.

According to a press release from the Mercedes-Benz Group, the limited-edition models are available to order this May until December 2022. However, the deliveries of the units are expected to start later this year. The new models take off from the base AMG A45 and CLA45, but with special body works to make them stand out visually.

The aesthetic enhancements in the cars are highlighted by a Cosmos Black Metallic exterior finish with contrasting AMG emblems and decals near the door sills. These also include 19-inch cross-spoke forged wheels and aerodynamic upgrades from AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II. The combination of the exclusive packages equips the cars with a larger front splitter showcasing added flics, rear wing, air ducts on the rear apron, rear diffuser blades, window line trim strips, front grille, and side mirror housings all clad in high-gloss black.

Going inside reveals a contrasting black and red finish featuring seats upholstered in two-tone Classic Red/Black Nappa Leather. Moreover, the steering wheel gets a Microfiber cover while the side sill panels emit a red illuminated AMG lettering when the doors are opened. Of course, AMG letterings and “Edition 55” badges can be found here and there just to remind people that they are riding a limited series model.

The Mercedes-AMG A45 and CLA45 Edition 55 are only limited to 55 samples each. So, interested buyers should place their orders now while supplies last.
