Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster Gets Unhinged with New Tuning Parts

Giancarlo Perlas June 24, 2021

The Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster is a nice choice for people who are looking for a more refined grand tourer in the GT line of the three-pointed star brand’s performance division. Those who are looking for a more performance-focused model of the range can go for the Mercedes-AMG GT R, Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro, or the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. That’s a tough choice though if you want a sexy top-down variant of the series but you are not contented with the standard 550 hp of the AMG GT C.

Luckily, there are tuners like AutoDynamics who can add more oomph to those who want more out of the AMG GT C. The tuner offers modified turbochargers as well as new downpipes, blow-off valves, and ECU remapping to drive up the output of the convertible’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from its already impressive 550 hp and 502 lb-ft torque to 651 hp and 614 lb-ft. The auto is also unhinged by removing its V-max limiter.

There are no details about the 0-62 mph acceleration and how far the speedometer of the AMG GT C can go with the new upgrades. As a recap, its stock configuration allows that in just 3.7 seconds and can reach up to 196 mph. The tuning kit is compatible with other AMG GT variants too.

The new release of the specialist does not say anything about adding new blings to the exterior and interior of the roadster, but if you find yourself wanting more personalization choices for your Mercedes, more tuning parts can be availed from Mercteil who offer genuine Brabus carbon body kits and other accessories tailored for the AMG GT and other cars of the German brand.
