After impressing us with the G V12 900 package that puts a 900-horsepower V12 engine to the Mercedes-AMG S65 Final Edition, Brabus once again releases a new package for our beloved Mercedes-Benz G-Class. This time, the German tuner unveiled the Brabus Adventure package for the Mercedes-Benz G 350 d.
The new Brabus Adventure pack provides a power-up and a more rugged look to the G 350 d. It also improves the off-road capabilities of the vehicle.
Here is a rundown of all the key features of the package:
Brabus retains the diesel-fed 3.0-liter turbo inline-six engine of the G 350 d. However, it adds 43 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque to the overall power of the vehicle, which now lets it produce a total of 326 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque. The boost is made possible by the tuner’s ECO PowerXtra D35 module.
The extra numbers allow the G 350 d to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 7.2 seconds. It maxes out the top speed of the auto to 126 mph too.
The upgrade is complemented by a custom sports exhaust system that includes twin chrome tailpipes on each side of the G-Class as well as adjustable springs that can add up to 1.6 inches of ground clearance to the SUV.
The boxy SUV of Mercedes receives a custom radiator grille with huge air intakes from the Brabus Widestar kit. The other add-ons include extended fender flares, brush guard, winch, luggage rack on the roof, wind deflector with auxiliary headlamps, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber skid plate, and the tuner’s signature Monoblock R alloy wheels in 9.5Jx20 sizes.
Behind the front wheel arches are Brabus logos that are lit together with the flare-integrated LED lights when the door handle of the auto is pulled.
The cabin of the G 350 d is not spared by the package. Inside are custom floor mats and leather seats with arrowhead stitching and contrasting white decors. Lastly, the interior benefits from Brabus’ aluminum door lock pins, pedals, and paddle shift levers.
