Mercedes-Benz C-Class and S-Class Spy Shots Emerge

Giancarlo Perlas March 28, 2019

The next-generation models of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and S-Class Sedans are underway. New spy shots reveal that the prototypes of the cars are already undergoing testing.

Here are the things we found out in the spy videos:

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The clip does not reveal much about the upcoming C-Class because of its heavy camouflage. However, we can see that the A-Pillar is more angular, and the vehicle seems to carry the same dimensions as the new Alfa Romeo Giulia. The proportions of the auto also hint that it has a rear-wheel-drive system.

Traces of the GLC sport utility vehicle and the GLC Coupe crossover are very evident in the layout of the C-Class at its front. The narrow headlamps follow the styling of its bigger siblings too.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The next-gen S-Class is clad in a heavy camouflage, which makes it hard to see its new styling elements. Like its previous spy photos, the video shows a more aggressive fascia for the car. The headlamp arrangement seems new as well.

Furthermore, the radiator grille of the company’s flagship car appears more aggressive. The lower intakes are bigger also. Meanwhile, the wheels are estimated to go from 18 to 20 inches in diameter.

Although not seen in the video, the older spy pictures indicate giant screens on the driver’s side of the instrument cluster and central panel. Of course, these will most likely house the MBUX infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
