The teaser for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe had just been officially released. The video also reveals the unveiling date of the new model.

The new YouTube teaser of Mercedes gives us a glimpse of the sporty exterior and amazing interior of the car. Then based on the video, the E-Class Coupe will make its first appearance on December 14, 2016.

The official specs of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe are yet to be revealed. However, expect it to mirror many design elements and tech found in its saloon and estate variants as hinted in the video.

The car might get the new inline-four and inline-six engines of Mercedes. Of course, look forward to a powerful AMG version of the auto with the V8 unit.

There is a rumor that the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe will have an E50 Coupe model to commemorate the 50th anniversary of AMG in 2017. The car is speculated to carry the upcoming inline-six Mercedes engine.

The Mercedes-Benz E50 Coupe might have a 3.0-liter displacement with an estimated output of 402 bhp and 368 lb-ft of torque. The performance of the engine is improved thanks to its Integrated Starter-Alternator (ISG), electric auxiliary compressor, and the intelligent turbocharging features.

Overall, the E-Class Coupe lineup could have up to five models. It is not clear though which ones will be offered in its major markets like the UK and the US.
