Mercedes-AMG GT R Shows Audi Q3 Prototype Who’s Boss

One driver of the prototype of the 2018 Audi Q3 just had a close encounter with the “Beast of the Green Hell” and lived to tell folks about it.

One video in YouTube shows the Mercedes-AMG GT R cruising the Nurburgring tracks. Of course, the sight of the sports car alone was nothing short of spectacular as it displayed its speed and agility in the road.

However, somewhere along the way, a rumored prototype of the Audi Q3 wrapped in a zebra camouflage was also conveniently doing its own testing. All of a sudden, the Mercedes-AMG GT R came speeding while cutting the Q3 off. The driver of the GT R did not appear to even mind that they were approaching a bend. It was all done with ease on the part of the AMG car as it left the Q3 prototype of its rival brand a nice view of its rear.

There was clearly no display of mercy from the AMG car to the Q3. Now that’s one way of the GT R of showing Audi who’s boss.

Check out the video below of the incident:

The Mercedes-AMG GT R, is the trimmed down and road-legal version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Within the car sits a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine capable of producing up to 577 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The unit allows the auto to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. On the other hand, its top speed is electronically-limited at 320 km/h.
