The next Cigarette Racing Team boat will be based on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car.

Cigarette Racing Team has had strong ties with Mercedes-AMG over the years. We have seen several of its performance boats which were inspired by the likes of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMGMercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, and the Mercedes-AMG GT S.

Recently, Cigarette Racing Team teased the new speedboat it is developing. According to Carscoops, it will be called as the 41′ SD GT3. As the rendering found in the photo above and the name of the boat implies, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car. The theme of the tie-up is to come up with products that could “ignore gravity and overcome nature on land and sea.”

Going back to the name of the boat, the 41′ indicates the measurement of the machine, which is 41 feet. There’s no mention yet of how powerful it is going to be. However, the report suggests it could get more than 1,000 hp.

Since the Cigarette Racing 41′ SD GT3 is based on a GT3 car and it looks more compact than the 50 Marauder GT S, it possible that it might even surpass its predecessor’s 1,550 hp.

As a recap, the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT S. The powerboat possesses two V8s that provide its powerful output. In addition, it is capable of reaching the 217 km/h mark.

The article noted that the unveiling of the 41′ SD GT3 will be held at the Miami International Boat Show on February 11, 2016.
