It’s only weeks before the Geneva International Motor Show kicks off. The 86th edition of the show will be held on March 3 to 13, 2016. Among the highlights of the event will be the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet.

With just less than a month remaining, Mercedes officially released a teaser of the car. It was done by revealing a sketch of the convertible.

Although the image does not provide us a view of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet’s front, it does, however, give us a look at its side, top with its roof down, and rear. So far, it is looking good with the signature lines of its range and coupe-like body—minus the roofing, of course.

Then again, if you want more of the upcoming C-Class convertible, spy photos of the car have been circulating the Internet lately. Despite the heavy zebra camouflage wrapping the spied autos, sources have identified the leaked models as the Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet and the Mercedes-AMG C43 Cabriolet.

Although no official data has been revealed by Mercedes up to this point regarding the engine specifications of the 2017 C-Class Cabriolet, the range is expected to follow its models’ respective counterparts in the new C-Class Coupe. Therefore, look forward to the usual 2.0-liter petrol units like the C200 and the C300. Turbodiesel versions like the C220d and C250d are a possibility too.

For the range-topping AMG C63 Cabriolet, it will most likely have the AMG handcrafted 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine. The output of the AMG C63 convertible is expected to be at 469 hp while its more powerful C63 S model will possibly get 503 hp.
