A new AMG body kit for select models of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift is set to be introduced by Mercedes-AMG, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The new AMG body kit can be ordered together with the compact hatchback of the luxury vehicle manufacturer.
The AMG division of Mercedes-Benz is entering the market segment offering official design accessories for the luxury compact hatchback. The AMG division of Mercedes-Benz has already worked on an accessories program to other models aside from the A-Class, and it is expected to continue to offer the same program in the future.
The AMG accessories for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class can be used on standard models and versions featuring the AMG-Line. They are manufactured using thermoforming technology and can be easily installed. All authorized dealers of the luxury vehicle manufacturer from Germany offer the add-con components for the A-Class.
The new AMG accessories package is made of four components for the body of the A-Class, which also receives s set of vinyl sports strip. The components included in the package are side-sill extensions costing €790, a front splitter costing €470, additional rear flics at €180, and rear apron trim giving a diffuser-look at €470m. The add-on AMG sports strip costs €200.
The new accessories for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class are available separately and will have no effect on fuel consumption, the warranty or the performance of the luxury vehicle. The components can be installed on the A250 Sport 4MATIC as well as all A-Class models under the AMG Line.
In addition to the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, the luxury vehicle manufacturer revealed that a similar body kit is set to be introduced for the C-Class Cabriolet and CLA facelift by June.
