Lumma Design Teases Its Work On The Mercedes GLE Coupe

Lumma Design is set to officially unveil its body kit for the Mercedes GLE Coupe during the Frankfurt Motor Show, which is scheduled to open next month. However, it appears the tuning company could not wait to show off its latest creation as it released the first images of the CLR G 800, as shown on a report from worldcarfans.com.

The aggressive body kit features a number of aerodynamic and visual enhancements designed to increase the appeal of the luxury coupe of Mercedes-Benz. The front fascia of the GLE Coupe was completely refitted with a brand-new bumper, an overhauled grille, a new lower splitter, new air intakes ducts and mesh grilles.

Lumma also gave the luxury coupe a carbon fiber hood, flared wheel arches and new side skirts. The rear was given an aggressive bumper, stainless steel quad exhaust pipes, a notable carbon fiber diffuser, flared rear wheel arches, and bespoke bootlid lip spoiler.

The vehicle sits on a set of customized wheels measuring 24 x 10.5 inches in front and 24 x 13 inches at the back. The new alloy wheels are clad in 295/30 and 355/25 in front and at the back, respectively. Potential buyers of the CLR G 800 can expect the interior cabin to feature premium leather upholstery together with exotic wood or carbon fiber trim.

Lumma Design is also working on a performance package for the Mercedes GLE Coupe that increases the power output of its 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine to 650 HP from its original 585 HP power output.
