Mercedes-Benz already revealed the GLE and its coupe variant. The GLC coupe concept has also been unveiled lately and its standard version is gearing for a June premiere. The last in line to complete the whole family of Mercedes-Benz SUVs is the GLS.

Just a couple of hours ago, Carscoops released some new spy shots of the Mercedes-Benz GLC. This time, it has only a little camo left compared to the last time we saw it. These set of photos now show pretty much everything about the vehicle except the bumpers, lights, grille and the center logo where the three-pointed star sits. The source noted as well that two of the spied units were carrying the AMG Sport package.

Though not much were officially revealed about the new features of the GLS, it is expected to carry much of the styling, safety and comfort elements found on the latest S-Class sedan. After all, the two are closely related anyway. So expect the same interior design, tech, and lighting system found on the current S-Class sedan model within the SUV when all its camo has been stripped down. The Mercedes-Benz GLS should be carrying all the engine options found on the S-Class too.

From the pictures displayed here, not much has changed from the GL going to the GLS. The updates appear to be limited to the bumpers, lighting, and hood only. Therefore, what we are really looking forward to is the GLS coupe, which should offer a more striking appeal than its standard model.

We’ve seen what Mercedes did to the GLE coupe and what it is about to give the GLC coupe. Hopefully, they will push the bar further with the GLS coupe.
