About the Mercedes-AMG GT S

The Mercedes-AMG GT S is the latest pure sports car of the three-pointed star brand, which was produced by its AMG performance division. It is the spiritual successor of the legendary Mercedes SLS AMG GT, and a potent weapon of its brand against the Porsche 911.

The super car shows how much AMG has evolved in terms of standards in order to keep up with the expectations of Mercedes customers, racing and market regulations, and for its brand to stand out in the competition. The car retained a couple of the styling cues found on its predecessor, but it was further engineered for it to stand out on its own. It was also designed to have a better performance and lower weight than the SLS.

Underneath the hood of the Mercedes-AMG GT  S is the latest handcrafted M178 engine by AMG. The power from its 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine is capable of reaching up to 503 hp. The output of the car lets it sprint from zero to 62 miles per hour in just a span of 3.8 seconds. Furthermore, its top speed could reach up to 193 mph (electronically-limited).
