Spy photos of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet surfaced again. This time, the shots were aimed at the rear of the car, which gives us a good glimpse of its backside.

Check out these photos of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet posted by Carscoops in its official website:

Based from the pictures, the upcoming C-Class variant seemed to borrow some of the styling found in the S-Class coupe. The shape of its lights plus the curves of its boot lid show strong resemblance to the coupe version of its brand’s flagship class. This indicates the intention of Mercedes to distance the new cabrio to its sedan, coupe and station wagon versions.

On the other hand, shades of the E-Class can be found on the design of the C-Class cabrio’s frameless windows. The retractable roof of the car also mirrors the styling found on the E-Class convertible.

Among the other features of the car are its four-seating capacity and interior similar to the layout of the luxurious salon version of its range.

According to several sources, including Carscoops, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will make its official debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. As of now, the pricing details of the car is not yet available, but it would be placed at a level below the E-Class convertible.

As we have mentioned in our previous report, the vehicle would possibly have a 2.0-liter turbo engine under its hood, which is powered by diesel. An AMG variant of the C-Class cabriolet is expected too.
