Mercedes-Benz is on full-throttle in its campaign for its upcoming sports car, the Mercedes AMG GT. The three-pointed star brand has been consistently releasing information about its new sports car bit by bit as the countdown to its official unveiling nears.

After some spy shots and unofficial leaks about the Mercedes AMG GT started surfacing early this year, Mercedes finally broke its silence by giving us a glimpse of the interior of the car. Then, it released audio clips of the vehicle in different revs. This was followed by Tobias Moers’ revelation of the sports car’s release date and engine specs. Lately, a full-sized teaser model of the vehicle was put in the showroom of the AMG headquarters.

The new teaser focuses on what the big names in AMG such as Moers, Mario Spitzner, and Christian Enderle think about the new vehicle. The guys hyped its new engine, which is what AMG is known for. Enderle also talked about the four unique driving modes present in the new car.

Mercedes AMG GT Specs

The Mercedes AMG GT is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo capable of producing up to 503 hp and 497 lb-ft of torque. The combination of these enable the car to reach an estimated top speed of 200 mph, and sprint from zero to 60 mph in only a span of approximately 3.6 seconds.
