A fan-made rendering of the 2015 Mercedes AMG GT.

The new Mercedes-AMG GT will feature “thrill with breathtaking design and supreme agility.” This is what Mercedes promises in its upcoming supercar.

Previously, we have seen spy photos of the camouflaged Mercedes-AMG GT. We have also been treated by the brand with a sneak preview of its elegant interior. Now, Mercedes has provided us a video containing a teaser of its new masterpiece, which can be seen below:

The new Mercedes-AMG GT will be the replacement of the outgoing SLS range. The range-topping car is expected to be launched in September this year.

In the comment of Mercedes in the YouTube teaser, it said, “The race—and the thrill—is earned in the curves.” This hypes the supercar’s more nimble features provided by its more enhanced aerodynamics package compared to the SLS.

It is rumored that the Mercedes-AMG GT might be equipped with a 4-liter biturbo V8 engine. Then, it should have an output of at least 500 bhp.

To build more excitement over its new product, Mercedes is planning to gradually reveal the performance data of the new vehicle in the following weeks, like its max speed, max acceleration and its other specs.

So far, we still have no idea what the exterior of the car will look like, as the teaser is hiding its body within a camo. But, the video does seem to give us a glimpse of its bare exterior on the top view at the end of the video.

Try pausing the teaser at the 0:36 mark for a quick view of the car without any camo.
