More Spy Photos of C63 AMG Surface

Giancarlo Perlas March 27, 2014

mercedes c63 amg A few weeks ago, we revealed that Mercedes-Benz was caught testing the next-generation C63 AMG and we had some spy photos to prove it. Recently, another sighting of the upcoming Mercedes C63 AMG was witnessed. Thankfully, the spy of Carscoops.com was quick enough to snap some shots of the car before it sped off.

The car portal confirmed our earlier report that the upcoming car will carry the same biturbo V8 engine, but it will come in 4.0-liter instead of the usual 6.2-liter. It added that the standard variants of the car will have an output of around 450 hp, but its special releases should come with more than 500 hp. This includes the possible Black Series which is rumored to be launched in the rear-wheel drive structure only.

It is most likely that the car will be much lighter than the present version of the C-Class. The chassis will be customized to have an enhanced suspension, braking and steering elements.

Based from its partially stripped camouflage, the car will not have exaggerated contours and add-ons like the AMG versions that we have been seeing as of lately. Instead, AMG has concentrated on its aerodynamic features, which were evident on the wheels, bumpers, hood and exhausts.

Moreover, the source stated that the production model of the Mercedes C63 AMG might be launched this 2014. However, its market launch is forecasted to be in 2015. The report noted as well that an estate version could break out soon.
