Almost all the modern models of Mercedes-Benz benefited from an AMG version. But it seemed like the company overlooked the E63, which is an E-Class Coupe. This was also admitted by the product manager of the company, Gerd Junginger, in the BenzBoost website.

Fans asked the exec why they can’t make the AMG variant now. Junginger replied that it is too late for them already to provide one. He said that an AMG version would no longer benefit the E63 because it is already too late in terms of its product cycle, especially when the launching of the refreshed 2014 model is nearing.

In his statement at the website, he said, “It’s the perfect car to be an AMG. It almost looks like an AMG version as it is now. Next time we won’t make the same mistake.”
