Clarissa December 8, 2011

Since a new generation of Mercedes-Benz SL is coming, the faster and lighter version, the current generation stopped production last week. And as a tradition, the last of that SL, with lot number 169.434, an Iridium Silver SL350 sports package will roll off the the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.

“Every SL series is a milestone in the history of Mercedes-Benz,” said the head of Mercedes-Benz Classic and Mercedes-Benz Museum CEO, Michael Bock, he added that, “They are used for the car’s anniversary which we will celebrate in 2012. And that’s why we are particularly pleased that the last vehicle built in the R 230 series also enriched the collection.”
