CarPlay Support Delayed Till 2015

The CarPlay, previously dubbed as iOS in car, continues to be a “work in progress”. The integration of the new technology upgrade to cars was put off until next year. According to Ubergizmo, car companies that have announced before their commitment to Apple’s CarPlay have pushed back the scheduled integration of the new system to their cars. Among them is Mercedes-Benz. In the statement of Mercedes-Benz, it confirmed it will not adopt the new system for now. The expected integration of the technology will have to wait until 2015, a company spokesperson revealed. Mercedes-Benz Showed the Least Recall Rate in the US Says Research

A 30-year study that focused on the safety of vehicles in the US revealed that Mercedes-Benz had the lowest recorded recall rate. According to Reuters, the research was conducted by a Woburn, Massachusetts-based firm called iSeeCars. The study reviewed 15 major automakers operating in the US. The methodology of the long-term study compared the number of vehicles recalled from 1985 to 2014 with the number of cars sold within 1980 to 2013. Based on the data, Mercedes-Benz recalls vehicles at a rate of 0.41. That means Mercedes recalls 41 vehicles for every 100 units sold.
