Power and Elegance Based on Mercedes E500 by Vath

Vath has been tuning Mercedes –Benz vehicles for quite some time now, so we kind of expect them to create a new one based on the popular E500. Dubbed as the V50S, it’s all beefed up as it has customer air intake and ECU that brings the power up to 520HP and torque of 810Nm. It sprints at 0 to 5 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Another amazing change here is its braking system, which comes with 390mm rotors and 6-piston front axle. The exterior, on the other hand, has carbon fiber body kit which has a rear diffuser, a trunk mounted spoiler, a revised grill and a front spoiler…. Continue Reading »

China Exclusive: the Carlsson C25 Super GT Limited Edition

Renowned Mercedes-Benz tuner Carlsson has created yet another masterpiece—the SL-based C25 Super GT Limited Edition—but don’t get yourself excited just yet because this new baby is set to go on sale only in China. The car is powered by Carlsson’s V8 engine that should give it around 450 horsepower. As some might note, this doesn’t really compare very well to the 753-horsepower engine in the SL600. Of course, there are new elements in this model to aid in getting more performance out of the car, such as the ultralight carbon fiber body that shaves of some 397 pounds compared to the base model. In addition, there are redesigns all around… Continue Reading »

Get a Load of Edo Competition’s C63 AMG Wagon

Edo Competition refreshes its take on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, getting a bit more performance out of the car’s wagon version. The German tuner took the vehicle from a stock 457 horsepower into a beast with a whopping 600 horsepower. How was this achieved? There are a bunch of high-performance upgrades made to the car, including the exhaust headers, air filters, catalytic converter, exhaust system, and other engine electronics. In addition to that, the tuner also took out the top-speed limiter on the vehicle, allowing it to go for a top speed of 213 mph or 343 kph and giving it a 0-100kph time of a mere 4.1 seconds. Its… Continue Reading »

Brabus Worked on the new Mercedes B-Class

Tuner Brabus is a company who likes laying their hands on Mercedes-Benz cars. It is no longer surprising that they chose the Mercedes B-Class to be their new project. Inden Tweaks The Mercedes SLS AMG

It almost seems like an insult to take a supercar like the SLS AMG and hand it over to a tuner for improvement. With more than 500 horsepower and a competition pedigree that’s being reinforced by the number of privateers entering the car in the FIA’s GT3 class, the SLS AMG doesn’t seem like a candidate for improvement. Inden Design, however, has seen fit to tweak the SLS AMG just that little bit more. Starting with the engine, Inden has bumped output from 570 horsepower to 623. The 50 horsepower bump was achieved by replacing the exhaust with freer flowing bits and remapping the ECU. To better handle the increased… Continue Reading »

Pioneer Uses Vito Van To Demo Audio System

When you want to literally shake the ground with your premium audio system, mere cars are too small to cram in all those speakers, enclosures, amps and signal processors. Thus Pioneer wisely chose a Vito 122 CDI as its platform for building up its Project X DJ van. With two 15” competition class SPL and four 10” Champion Series subs, two Pioneer CDJs, a state of the art mixer, eight independent amplifiers, four batteries and a 300amp power supply, the system does need the Vito’s 224 horsepower diesel V6 to haul all that equipment around. And one can only imagine how that Vito sounds when the DJ cranks that 30,000-watt… Continue Reading »
