Tuner Combo Produces An Aggressive S-Class

From Canadian tuner SR Auto Group comes this remodelled S-Class that is sure to turn heads. For its Project Amadeus, SR Auto first started with an S63 AMG, no wallflower of a car. But as Mercedes enthusiasts know, even AMG offerings can look pretty subdued, unless of course we’re talking about the extreme Black Series models. What SR Auto Group did was to contact Japanese designer Wald, which contributed is Black Bison body kit for this ostensibly luxury sedan. This kit includes new front bumpers, side skirts, wider rear fenders, and roof and decklid spoilers. The fender treatment gives the car hints of the DTM look, as the rears of… Continue Reading »

Canadian tuner SR Auto Group set its sights on the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG wagon for a project it dubbed “Project Cyphur.” After the dust has settled and the vehicle has been transformed according to the will of the Group, we now see what the tuner dubs “the wagon that could do no wrong.” Rest assured, this is one wagon you do not want to mess with. For starters, there’s heavy use of carbon fiber and BRABUS components for the exterior, including the front lip, fender, rear diffuser, puddle lights, and fender. BRABUS emblems also adorn the hood and the trunk of the vehicle. There’s some BRABUS inside as well, in… Continue Reading »

Dubbed as the V50S, it’s all beefed up as it has customer air intake and ECU that brings the power up to 520HP and torque of 810Nm. It sprints at 0 to 5 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Renowned Mercedes-Benz tuner Carlsson has created yet another masterpiece—the SL-based C25 Super GT Limited Edition—but don’t get yourself excited just yet because this new baby is set to go on sale only in China. The car is powered by Carlsson’s V8 engine that should give it around 450 horsepower. As some might note, this doesn’t really compare very well to the 753-horsepower engine in the SL600. Of course, there are new elements in this model to aid in getting more performance out of the car, such as the ultralight carbon fiber body that shaves of some 397 pounds compared to the base model.
