Mercedes-Benz GLT Video Teaser Released

Mercedes-Benz confirmed through a teaser that it will finally unveil its new pickup truck concept. Called the Mercedes-Benz GLT, the video said the vehicle will make its world premiere on October 25, 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. The new Mercedes pickup truck is based on the platform of the Nissan Navara but with the signature aesthetics of three-pointed star brand. Based from the tidbits of information shown in the teaser, the frontal half of the GLT appears to follow some of the aggressive styling elements present in the SUVs of Mercedes. Mercedes-Benz Unimog Voted as the Best 2016 Cross-Country Vehicle

Rugged terrains, slippery paths, harsh weather, shallow river crossing and other extreme environmental conditions, it does not matter because the Mercedes-Benz Unimog can conquer them all. Recently, the Unimog was awarded the “Cross-Country Vehicle of the Year” under the “special-purpose” category by “Off Road” journal. According to Daimler, Off Road conducted a poll to determine the winner the best cross-country vehicle of the year. There were 12 categories that include the special purpose vehicles segment. There were 126 vehicles to choose from, and a total of 85,080 votes were cast by readers. The Unimog stood out in the special-purpose vehicles category, bagging nearly half of the votes. The truck is listed with a hefty $350,980.00 price tag. Schwarzenegger had the custom Mercedes Unimog assembled sometime in 2012. But in 2014, it was put up for sale in Germany. The Mercedes-Benz Actros with partially automated driving features has finally been unleashed on the road. According to Daimler, the truck, equipped with the advanced Highway Pilot system, makes its first journey in public road. The image above just shows their amazing concept of the vehicle.
