New Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG Spy Shots

It’s nice to see spy shots surfacing as these snaps heighten anticipation for the cars. Take these recent spy shots of the upcoming hot hatch, the Mercedes-Benz A25 AMG, seen as it was testing very minimally shrouded. The vehicle was running a few rounds of testing somewhere in Southern Germany, likely to check the overall performance of the car. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter engine, and it is said that Mercedes-Benz High Performace Engines helped in the development. According to the company, the A25 AMG will likely leapfrog the power numbers of the Audi RS3′s 2.0-liter engine that goes for 335 brake horsepower. Video of the Day: 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class filmed undisguised

A cycling team in Spain has filmed the brand-new 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class while either making a promo spot or shooting some picture for print material. The video was taken on Jan 26 by bike team OGOTT, as they were cycling from El Golfo to Playa Blanca when they stumbled upon the brand new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. As you can see in the video, it’s a very clear shot of A-Class, revealing all the front and side details. We are very surprised that it looks almost identical to the prototype, even the beautiful and futuristic grill was kept. Concept A-Class

Exclusive: Spy-shots of the upcoming “baby” CLS

The Baby-CLS or BLS/CLC/CLA as some are calling it, was just a rumor back a few months ago when we first reported about it, but as we can see in these exclusive spy-shots, it seems that Mercedes-Benz is going ahead with it’s plan to create a smaller version of legendary CLS. It is rumored that the baby-CLS (some are even calling it the 4-door coupe version of the C-Class) will be built on the same architecture as the next-gen B-Class. Front-wheel drive will be available for the standard version, whereas the AMG version will get a all-wheel drive system. Not much is known about the drive system, but if rumors… Continue Reading »

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Spy Shots

Autocar has just outed some spy shots of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class as it was being tested. The upcoming vehicle, which has a codename of W222, isn’t due officially until 2013, and the pictures still show a heavily covered-up vehicle to hide the car’s exterior from the public eye. While not much gets past the extensive camouflage of the upcoming S-Class, there’s definitely some amazing curves lurking behind all that cladding. That’s because the new S-Class is supposedly going to take some design inspiration off the F700 concept showcased at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show. The car will be powered by a new range of V6 and V8 petrol engines… Continue Reading »

2012 S-Class Spied Testing on Ice

The upcoming 2012 Mercedes-Benz S-Class was seen being tested in rough conditions, as reported by Car Advice. How rough? Negative-30-degrees-Celsius rough. The spy shots show a whole range of updates to the exterior styling. The headlights, which should be fully equipped with LED tech, appear to have shrunk a bit in size. Car Advice expects an updated grill design that is just shy of the one on the F700 Concept. Although the interiors were not really visible, the new S-Class will definitely stay true to its lineage and showcase a complete line of high-tech features and gadgets. After all, this is the vehicle that Mercedes-Benz uses to exhibit state-of-the-art features… Continue Reading »

New C-Class Coupe Seen With Minimal Disguise

Ahead of its launch at the Detroit Motor Show this coming January, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe has been seen effectively without disguise. The C-class coupe is set to replace the CLK which had a 12-year run consisting of two model generations. With the launch of the C-Class coupe, the sports hatch with the CLC nomenclature will also be discontinued. Together with its sibling saloon and estate models, the C-Class coupe will sport subtle design changes taken from the larger E-class, such as new headlamps, and new hood and bumper shapes. Espied changes at the rear of the new models are mostly minor, affecting only the bumpers and taillights. It… Continue Reading »

2012 ML-Class Spotted in the Wild

The upcoming Mercedes Benz ML-Class has been spotted testing in the wild, and with it comes a lot of speculation for the SUV. It appears to be a cross between a G-Class and an R-Class, and the company has already said that the ML-Class will be focusing more on efficiency instead of performance. Due sometime in mid-2011, there are yet to be any concrete details leaked about the new car. All of the speculation has so far been based on the previous spy shots of the vehicle. There are even some reports that hint at an ML-Class powered by a hybrid diesel and electric power train. Of course, there’s the… Continue Reading »
