The Mercedes-Benz Citan, Vito, and Sprinter recently showed that they can endure even the most extreme conditions recently. The Citan and the Vito were tested an Arctic Van Test that was held in Finland while the Sprinter drove through the North America until Alaska. The Arctic Van Test saw the Mercedes-Benz Citan outshining its rivals in its category. The Mercedes-Benz van combines comfort, handling and safety to achieve a remarkable driving performance. Epic Arctic Trip Comes to a Conclusion

Mercedes-Benz Canada just announced the conclusion of its Sprinter Arctic Drive. The big press release came on January 30, 2013 which was also the time when the big event was completed. The journey started in Edmonton, Alberta on January 22, 2013. Then, the expedition went through northern British Columbia, the Yukon and all the way to Alaska way past the Arctic Circle which exposed the participants into one of the worlds most dangerous weather conditions. Mercedes-Benz Got Seven Best Commercial Vehicles Award, Won Best Brands in 2012 Poll

Last night in Stuttgart, Mercedes won got seven awards, five for its vehicles and two for its services. The Sprinter vans won the “vans up to 3.5t” category, the Actros for the “long haul truck” and “dump tucks up to 32t” category, “urban regular-service buses” was bagged by the Citaro and the Tourino was awarded the best in “midibuses” category. Placing first in class last year gave the impetus for Mercedes and a group of its female employees to enter for the third year in a row the “Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc”. Covering a distance of 2500 kilometers, this desert rally takes place in Morocco and consists of seven stages. Mercedes-Benz Enjoying Double Sprinter Sales so far in 2011

So far this year, Mercedes-Benz is scoring a hit with its current lineup of the Sprinter van. According to Wards Auto, Merc has delivered 5,185 units through May this year, more than double the diesel Sprinter van sales at 102.1 percent compared to the sales figures from last year. A growing number of Merc dealerships are selling the van plus some other Freightliner outlets. There are currently 108 total Silver Arrow dealerships out of 353 that market the Sprinter van.
