A new Mercedes-AMG sports car is in the works. The product will be a standalone vehicle of AMG with no Mercedes-Benz counterpart. It would serve as an indirect successor to the SLC. According to Autocar, the concept for the new AMG sports car was just presented at the board of Mercedes-Benz. A recent report from a German online publication revealed that there’s an ongoing plan to develop a Mercedes-AMG GT sedan. According to AutoBild, the new sports car that will be solely made by Mercedes-AMG will be called the “Mercedes-AMG GT4”.
