Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Tuned by Senner

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG indeed is becoming tuner’s favorite. Because of its reputation as the ultimate sports car, you would think that there’s nothing you can improve, yet, lots of tuning companies showed interest in creating their own version of the power vehicle. The most recent one who showed fascination on the car is Senner. The German tuning company has equipped the kit with an air filter kit and stainless steel exhaust system. The 6.2-liter V8 engine is now producing an additional 35PS and 40Nm of torque from the normal 571PS and 650Nm. The Mercedes SLS AMG Gets Some Nice Treatment

Do you want to know how Mercedes some performance and cosmetic touches to a car? The AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach released a time-lapsed video that shows how they do it. In this video, the super car SLS AMG gets the pampering. That Eddie Murphy Drives An SLS AMG Is No Laughing Matter

Spotted in the parking area of a local coffee shop, comedian and actor Eddie Murphy was spotted beside his gleaming black SLS AMG. Get Ready for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series

Mercedes-Benz indirectly confirmed that the Black Series model of the SLS AMG is underway as Tobias Moers, AMG head of vehicle development commented that the Black Series is a “must do” on AMG’s list. The Black series will be SLS AMG GT3 race car’s street legal model. But much like its racing model counterpart, it will surely be built with high-performance and high-quality materials. SLS AMG E-Cell Goes Lightweight with a Carbon Fiber Spine

Another ambitious technology was created by Mercedes-Benz, called the “AMG Lightweight Performance”, the design is now being introduced at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. Made in an effort to upgrade crash safety, the “zero intrusion cell” protects the battery modules in the vehicle from damage and deformation in case there is a crash. The SLS AMG E-CELL body shell being shown by Mercedes-Benz AMG at the IAA 2011 is one trailblazing outcome of its ambitious “AMG Lightweight Performance” design strategy.
