The battle between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg rages on. The people behind Mercedes AMG Petronas, making sure that they will have a Plan B in case one of their title-chasing drivers would be unavailable to race in the remaining events of this Formula One season, signed up a backup driver. Pascal Wehrlein, only 19 years of age, will function as a reserve driver for the team starting the next F1 race up to the finals. Pascal Wehrlein, a driver for the Mercedes-Benz team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, became a driving instructor for a day, to Andreas Ivanschitz and Sebastian Prodl, members of the Austrian national team. This special event was held at the Red Bull Ring, acting as a lead-up to the third DTM round this weekend at the circuit in Spielberg. They engaged in a driver training exercise, which included a trio of basic routines. The footballers got a taste of how to accelerate properly, brake correctly, and see the ideal racing line. After Superb Formula 3 Career, Pascal Wehrlein Moves on to DTM

Pascal Wehrlein, who is set to become the youngest driver in the history of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, has just wrapped up his Formula 3 career to the tune of a win to round out three podium finishes in the European Championship this past weekend. Wehrlein won the second race of the weekend in Monza for RSC Mucke Motorsport, after Raffaele Marciello claimed victory in the first race. Pascal Wehrlein Becomes Youngest DTM Driver Ever

The Mercedes-Benz DTM lineup just got a shake-up, with Ralf Schumacher relinquishing his driver seat to take on a managing shareholder role with RSC Mucke Motorsport. Meanwhile, Formula 3 Euro Series driver Pascal Wehrlein moves up to the vacant slot and is set to be the youngest-ever driver in DTM. The German will be 18 years and 188 days old when he debuts for the team in the season-opening race at Hockenheim.
