2016 Mercedes AMG GT Spied in Nurburgring

A lot of Mercedes spy shots have been sprouting this week thanks to some individuals with ninja-like reflexes when using their cameras. Among the latest that have surfaced are the spy shots of the 2016 Mercedes AMG GT while it was taking an endurance test on the Nurburgring tracks. As we have reported earlier, the 2016 Mercedes AMG GT will have a V8 engine instead of the V6, which is perceived as more fuel-efficient. Tobias Moers reasoned out that he believes that there is still room for tweaking in the V8 that will make it more fuel-efficient. The biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine of the 2016 Mercedes AMG GT will likely… Continue Reading »

C63 AMG Black Series Posts Blistering Nurburgring Time

Call it marketing or just plain pride in achieving it, but Mercedes-Benz has announced that its C63 AMG Black Series has put in a time at the Nurburgring that has made sports car aficionados around the world sit up and take notice. We know that the Black Series cars represent hardcore performance from the AMG division of the German carmaker. Just how hardcore is amply illustrated by the fact the there is a difference of about 15 seconds in the Ring time between the C63 AMG and the C63 AMG Black Series. The “normal” C63 AMG has lapped the Nurburgring at 8:01. The C63 AMG Black Series recently… Continue Reading »

SLS AMG Struts Its Stuff At The Nurburgring

Despite all the exposure you see of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG on the Internet, actual sightings of this car in real life are not that common. So when we see one in the flesh, we make the most of the experience. In the video clip that follows, we see an SLS AMG initially parked at the world-famous Nurburgring, a track where immature drivers need not apply. While all vehicles are welcome at the Nurburgring (you even see the occasional bus!), the most common cars you see are Porsches and other cars of similar performance. Thus, it’s a pleasure to see this SLS AMG being driven hard, as high performance cars… Continue Reading »

Spyshots of the SLS AMG Black Series

Flared fenders front and rear with upgraded brakes and huge wheels. Carbon fiber body work that makes it lighter. An upgrade on power of up to 650bhp. What is this? The SLS AMG Black Series, a lighter and faster gullwing vehicle that will retain its 6.2 liter V8 was spotted in Nurburgring. Enjoy the spyshots, but if you can afford its reported price tag of $500,000, then you probably start drooling and hoping that this would be released soon. Photo Source: Autoevolution.com
