Mercedes Has No Plans for Changes in F1 Lineup Next Year

Niki Lauda, the non-executive chairman of Mercedes AMG Petronas, confirmed through an interview with Sky Sports that the team has opened talks for a multi-year extension with Lewis Hamilton’s contract. Lewis Hamilton was reported “gobsmacked” after a post-race meeting with the people at Mercedes AMG Petronas. That’s because he allegedly learned that his clash with Nico Rosberg was premeditated.
