Mercedes-Benz Museum Treats Fans on Its Anniversary Weekend

The Mercedes-Benz Museum just celebrated its 10th year last May 19th. As part of its yearlong commemoration of its inauguration, it announced special events dedicated for fans this coming June 4 and 5. According to the Global Media site of Daimler, the anniversary weekend of Mercedes Museum will be held near the gates of the Untertürkheim plant. The key parts of the event include children’s party, vehicle parade, Food Truck Festival and a variety show on the stage. Mercedes-Benz Museum Puts Free Admission for BMW Employees

BMW is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Mercedes-Benz, being the greatest rival of the brand is not taking a backseat during the event. The parent company of Mercedes, Daimler, recently posted a press release congratulating its biggest competitor. Whether it is a gesture of goodwill is questionable as there were plenty of hints that Daimler is trolling its rival. The press release starts by telling readers that BMW was founded on March 7, 1916. Most major car companies have seen fit to maintain automotive museums to better preserve their historical achievements over the decades. And while most of these museums undoubtedly have something interesting to preserve and show, it is Mercedes-Benz’s cars that are filled with innovation, heritage and a sense of history. Mercedes-Benz holds Super Sports Cars museum exhibit

Sports cars have always been considered as the successful bonding between man and machine. Mercedes-Benz thus takes pride in its fleet of super sports cars to be showcased in the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The event, dubbed the ‘Super Sports Car special exhibition’, will be held from April 27 to August 29 of this year.
