Sporty And Aggressively Styled Mercedes-Benz MLC To Rival BMW X6

Spy shots of the sportier Mercedes-Benz MLC were taken as the vehicle undertakes an early development tests in Europe. To be officially launched in 2015, the Mercedes-Benz MLC is said to compete against the BMW X6. Built with the standard ML body (M-Klasse platform), the MLC is expected to be more smart than the M-class and with styling elements that include bespoke headlights, wider wheel-arches, re-profiled roofline and a sportier interior features that give additional comfort. Crossover Teaser Shows MLC To Start Production In 2015

When Mercedes-Benz CEO Dieter Zetsche announced the other day that 2015 would see the launch of several new models, he didn’t give a clear idea of what those models would be.  Now, a teaser from Mercedes-Benz has revealed that one of the new models will be a crossover vehicle called the MLC.Although the teaser pic does shows a crossover-type vehicle, the sloping rear contour for the roof is reminiscent of the CLS, and, dare we say, BMW’s X6? M-Class Based MLC To Battle BMW’s X6

In a move that will cause rival BMW more than a few sleepless nights, Mercedes-Benz is being reported as moving forward with a new coupe crossover model that will bang heads squarely against the dismal-looking X6. Tentatively known as the MLC, this model will be built upon the M-Class platform, with the vehicle’s profile taking cues from Mercedes successful CLS styling.
