MEC Design Tunes Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is considered among the favorite luxury vehicles in the midsize luxury segment. It provides owners an interesting combination of performance, safety and comfort. MED Design recently gave the E-Class a wide-body kit for the Convertible and Coupe models, as indicated on a recent report. A teaser video for the wide-body kit was initially released near the end of last year by the aftermarket tuning specialist. The wide-body kit gives the E-Class a distinctive new bumper that features a lower splitter section and redesigned ai intakes. Potential New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Spotted Recently

Reports of a new Mercedes-Benz E-Class have emerged around a month ago and speculations have emerged following the recent sighting of a half-camouflaged Mercedes-Benz C-Class close to Nurburgring, according to a report from Since the latest C-Class was launched only recently, it may not be a follow-up to the recently-unveiled luxury vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Strong in August, Posts 18.7% Gain

There’s no slowing down Mercedes-Benz, it seems. The German automaker once again posted a record month in terms of sales, with last August accounting for its best-ever performance in that month. All in all, the company sold 108,417 units, which translates to an 18.7% increase compared to the same month last year. That sales figure for August puts the year-to-date total to 916,644. That’s a 9.3% growth compared to sales figures for the same period in 2012. The biggest reason for the gain? That would be the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class, of which sales grew by 29.9 percent. Mercedes-Benz Posts Record July Sales

Mercedes-Benz is off to a solid start for the second half of 2013, with the German luxury car maker posting record results for July and managing 20% growth on year-over-year figures for the month. A total of 116,790 vehicle units were sold over last month. That puts the year-to-date tally up to 811,227 units, which marks an 8.1-percent increase over the same January-to-August period in 2012. Dr Joachim Schmidt, Mercedes-Benz Cars executive vice president for sales and marketing, credited the success of the new E-Class as well as the continued popularity of the automaker’s compact models.
