Mercedes-Benz C-Class Most Frequently Stolen Luxury Car, Says Insurance Group Report

A report by the National Insurance Crime Bureau said that the Mercedes-Benz C-Class was the most stolen luxury car model between 2009 and 2012, accounting for 485 thefts during that period. That figure accounts for over ten percent of the total 4,384 reported thefts within that time frame. Mercedes-Benz is always among the top sellers in the luxury segment, and recent efforts by the German automaker have made owning one much easier. Next Generation C-Class Spotted

The next generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class is not expected to be unveiled until the January 2014 Detroit Auto Show according to Autoblog. However, one spy managed to take a quick shot of the upcoming car using his/her ninja skills. Based on the photos taken, the upcoming C-Class apparently adopted some of its features from the E-Class and S-Class sedans. This is very evident with its vertical tail lamps said the report. Mercedes-Benz Sets May 10 Deadline for Vance, AL Job Posts

In a statement, Mercedes-Benz US International (MBUSI) said that, after May 10, it will no longer be taking any more applications for some 1,000 job posts to accommodate the production requirements for two additional Mercedes-Benz car models set to start in a couple of years. MBUSI is the entity behind the Vance, Alabama plant of the German automaker. The plant was founded in 1993 and rolled out the first vehicle in February 1997.
