Four Mercedes-AMG GT3s Top The Nurburgring 24 Hours

Mercedes-AMG had a big win in the Nurburgring 24 Hours as four Mercedes-AMG GT3s copped the top four spots in the 44th edition of the event, as indicated on a report from gtspirit.com. The latest Affalterbach GT racers dominated the event from the start of the race until the end. The three teams that won the top sports are Black Falcon, which placed first and fourth, Haribo Racing, which placed second, and HTP Motorsport, which claimed the third place in the race. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 was tested by Mercedes-AMG at the Fuji Speedway, as shown on a report from worldcarfans.com. The test comes with the continued development of the Super GT Series by the company. The video of the test shows an unadorned AMG GT3, which does not happen often since it is typically covered with sponsorship stickers when it goes out in the public. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 was unveiled over a year ago and it complied with the specifications established by the FIA for a GT3. Last week, we covered the teaser video of Mercedes-AMG hinting that “Something Fast is Coming.” While the clip uploaded by the company in YouTube did not show any car or even any part of it in the teaser, it did carry a familiar sound. Tuning up the volume a bit while watching the video above will reveal a sound similar to the noise produced by the Mercedes-AMG GT’s 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine, albeit it was louder than the standard.   With the availability of the Mercedes-AMG GT in the market, the luxury vehicle manufacturer from Germany has released a new teaser video of what appears to be an upcoming variant of the luxury supercar, as shown on a report from autoevolution.com. The video teases of “something is fast coming,” which suggests the release of the road-going variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car. The video also shows scenes of the Hockenheim track along with engine audio samples.
