The Mercedes W05 is Finally Unveiled

The Mercedes W05, the Holy Grail of the Mercedes F1 team, has finally been unveiled. Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Toto Wolff, Paddy Lowe and the other key figures of the team were all there during the uncovering of the new Silver Arrow. Based on the pictures of the car which were released online, it seems to carry a striking resemblance with Ferrari’s car in the slope of the nose. A Quick Look at Mercedes’ F1 Steering Wheels

Despite driving the same car, the steering wheel of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg do not share the same features. One of the most noticeable differences between the two Mercedes F1 steering wheels is the handgrip. Hamilton’s steering wheel grip is smoother and it appears to be thicker as compared to Rosberg’s curvy grip. Then, the buttons are also visibly very distinct from each other. Mercedes W05 Tested at Silverstone on Friday

The Formula 1 team of Mercedes-Benz announced last Friday that it just completed the initial testing of its new car, the W05. Based on the team’s statement with the press, the Mercedes W05 ran for about two hours during the afternoon of Friday at Silverstone.
