It has only been less than a month since Mercedes-Benz revealed its GLC Coupe Concept through a sketch, official photos, and a live model at the Shanghai Motor Show. Just a few days ago, IndianAutosBlog featured spy photos of the prototype standard SUV of the same range with only a little camouflage. According to the source, the Mercedes-Benz GLC spy shots came from one of its readers. It also mentioned that the pictures were taken along the Stuttgart headquarters of Mercedes. Images of the test prototype of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLK emerged recently with some of its camouflage taken off, according to a report from autoevolution.com. The images gave indications that the successor to the GLK was already in its final development stages. Latest Images Of Upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK Emerge Recntly

Images of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLK have emerged recently, as shown through a report from autoevolution.com. Although the most recent images still show a good amount of camouflage on the luxury vehicle, it does reveal some significant features that were adopted for the final production model of the GLK. The most-recent images show the two-bar grille of the GLK in front along with a pair of headlights that have a boxy appearance, which is similar to the latest model of the C-Class. Mercedes-Benz is currently undergoing some major changes in the names of its popular vehicle ranges. Among the ranges affected by the new comprehensive renaming strategy of the brand is the M-Class. According to Automotive News, the German luxury automaker will drop the “M-Class” name in favor of the GLE class. In addition to the renaming, the new GLE would also receive a major facelift in early 2015. Its crossover coupe version, which was initially revealed as the Concept Coupe SUV and rumored to carry the GLE Coupe moniker, is scheduled to be launched at around April next year in Beijing. Mercedes-Benz Gets Strong Sales in Canada Last Month

Today, Mercedes-Benz Canada released its sales report for the month of May. So far, it showed a strong performance of the brand in the country. According to Canada Newswire, a grand total of 3,300 Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and Smart cars were sold last month in Canada. This year marks a total of 14,028 units sold via the MB Canadian retail network alone. There was a recorded figure of 2,820 units retailed for the passenger cars luxury light trucks sold in the country. The breakdown is as follows: 1,618 passenger car units were sold while the luxury light truck’s side accounted for the remaining 1,202. Price Of 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec Revealed

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec will finally become available in dealerships one year after it was initially unveiled during the New York Auto Show in 2012. The base price of the GLK250 is at $38,590 although a destination charge of $905 is not yet included. Buyers who are looking to purchase the gas-powered variant of the compact diesel crossover will have to pay another $1,500 over the base price of the luxury vehicle. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec will feature a four-cylinder 2.1-liter diesel engine that produces 200HP and a torque of 369 lb-ft. The vehicle also features the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
