F1: Hamilton finally wins one in Monaco

Lewis Hamilton finally managed to win a race in the 2016 Formula One season, with a solid victory ahead of Daniel Ricciardo at the Monaco Grand Prix. This was an exceptionally important outing for Hamilton after his fateful crash with teammate Nico Rosberg at the opening lap of the previous race. Hamilton was able to hold on to the first spot thanks in part to a pit stop blunder by Red Bull in lap 33, with the pit crew apparently not ready to receive Ricciardo and thus costing the driver a considerable amount of time. Formula One Fans Get Chance to Win $50,000

The Official Managed Connectivity Supplier of Mercedes AMG Petronas and the Official Connectivity Provider of Formula One, Tata Communications, recently announced a new challenge that will allow motorsport fans a way to win as much as $50,000. According to the company is launching the 2016 Connectivity Innovation Prize. The contest includes two technology challenges aimed at F1 fans who are also tech-inclined. The first challenge calls on tech-savvy fans of the sport to develop ways to enhance the viewing pleasure of people watching F1 events from home. Mercedes F1 Drivers Not Punished by Stewards After Spanish GP Incident

Tension escalated quickly at the 2016 Formula One Spanish Grand Prix. Just four turns from the starting line, the Silver Arrows of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg collided with each other, which led to their early elimination from the race. Despite the straight faces of the drivers following the event, there was another turbulence evidently brewing within the Mercedes F1 team. Opinions were divided after reviewing clips of the incident. F1: Epic crash knocks out both Mercedes cars in lap 1 of Spanish Grand Prix

Well, that escalated quickly. Lap one of the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix saw a Mercedes on Mercedes crash, taking out the top two contenders in the season so far. This paved the way for Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to be the youngest race winner in Formula One history.  Right after the start, Hamilton was able to get ahead of Rosberg but the German managed to snag back the lead by turn 3. The recent qualifying for the 2016 Formula One Spanish Grand Prix proved that the battle for supremacy is not just between the Mercedes F1 team and Ferrari. So far in 2016, Lewis Hamilton has not had much luck. The defending Formula One drivers champion hasn’t won a race in four tries, struggling with reliability issues on his F1 W07 Hybrid multiple times. Mercedes gets one-two as Rosberg keeps rolling in Russian GP

It’s looking more and more like Nico Rosberg’s year, as the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 driver took home the victory for the fourth straight race this 2016 F1 season. Teammate Lewis Hamilton took advantage of an early appearance by the safety car to move from P10 in the starting grid to a second-place finish, giving the team its second one-two finish this year so far.
