A Mercedes-Benz Recall is Underway Again

Mercedes-Benz has recently been put in a bad light again to U.S. customers. According to Yahoo! News, some vehicles of the three-pointed star brand have been found by U.S. safety regulators to be in danger of oil leaks. Due to the findings of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the report said Mercedes-Benz is recalling 4,871 of its sedans and SUV models. The affected units were from the E-Class, M-Class, and GLK-Class ranges. The model years of the vehicle’s mentioned were from 2014 to 2015. E250 BlueTec Takes Its North American Debut during the NY Auto Show

Mercedes has bigger plans for E250 BlueTec engine’s future in the United States and in April, it was given its North American presentation during the Auto Show held in New York. It is powered by the same 2.1-liter four cylinder diesel engine with Selective Catalytic Reduction exhaust technology and despite the downsizing from 6 to 4 cylinder diesel, it will still have the same power ratings with 190 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.
