A More Casual Mercedes-AMG E43 To Sell For $160,000

As Germany’s favorite business sedan, the Mercedes-AMG E43 finally seems to want to loosen its tie. It doesn’t have that formal physique of the E63, but it will fill that void between macho and rippled flagship and the E-Class. Mercedes isn’t using the E-Class platform for this. Rather, it wants the E43 to be a more comfortable and more subtle version of Australia’s favorite, the C63 S. According to reports, the E43 will arrive in December and will carry the price tag of $160,000. With it comes a a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine with 295kW at 6100rpm and 520Nm delivered between a broad 2500rpm and 5000rpm. It claims to be able… Continue Reading »

PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side In The Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Tagged as the “Masterpiece of Intelligence,” the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is bringing the PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side technology that drains the force of side impacts. In a 1:03-minute commercial, Mercedes-Benz featured a kid in the backseat of the E-Class waiting for the storm to pass. As he imagined terrible things—the Loch Ness monster, for example—coming from the lake, a voice over gave a rundown of what the PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side meant for Merc owners. It gives the E-Class more credence to be called the “Masterpiece of Intelligence” because the technology can respond to critical threats even before they occur. In a nutshell, what the PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side does is to move… Continue Reading »

The raised suspension setting lets the A6 Allroad have more agility, especially during bends. The feature also provides it better handling. The same set of features can be found… Continue Reading »
