2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe spotted – arriving at dealers?

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure to see the new 2010 E-Class Coupe on the road while driving around town (Bellevue, WA). I spotted the E350 a couple hundred feet away, mostly because of the very very bright LED taillights. I had only a few moments to get my phone out and snap a pic before he drove off. Does this sighting mean we are close to a showroom debut, well according to some, the first E-Class editions for sale are likely to arrive by the end of the month or early July, so we can safely assume the launch is imminent. The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe offers all the technical innovations of the new E-Class series that one might expect to find in a sports-oriented luxury coupe. These include selective damper control, drowsiness detection, preventive occupant protection and the Active Bonnet. As a feature specific to the Coupe, the Dynamic Driving package allows different suspension setups at the touch of a button. Not only did we get some exclusive spy photos of the new E-Class Coupe yesterday, but we also got a mini review of the Coupe. Another Insider sent us a mail with some very interesting tidbits. We’ve received exclusive spy shots of the next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe from our very own spy photographer and “Insider”. You’ve seen dozens of such sighting in the past, but I don’t believe we’ve seen pictures of the car this close and (shall we say) personal. In this round of spy shots, we not only get to see the exterior in plain sight, but a glimpse into the interior. The Mercedes interior emblems have been removed, as is customary in test vehicles, but we’re still able to see the rest of the dashboard, steering wheels as well as the shift knob. Official next-gen E-Class Coupe images leaked online

Mercedes-Benz has some serious issues with models being leaked weeks if not months before they are officially announced. Today, courtesy of Autoblog.nl, we are get to see what the next-gen CLK or E-Class Coupe will look like. Even though, we have seen almost totally undisguised images of the Coupe, this is the first time that press photos have been published. The coupe is very similar to the new E-Class released at NAIAS last week, but it also borrows heavily from the CL, making it a prefect and affordable coupe.
