Mercedes-Benz has a new treat for its customers. According to Mercedes-Benz Passion Blog, the three-pointed star brand is offering for a limited time the new Drive Kit Plus for the iPhone 5, 5C and 5S for retrofitting.

The Drive Kit Plus comes with the Digital Drive Style app exclusively made for the mentioned iPhone models. This would let drivers access the main contents of their Smartphones through the LCD display of their vehicles. The center console will serve as the navigation control for the app.

For up to June 30 this year, Mercedes is providing the retrofitting option for around 499 Euros.

The improved features of the Drive Kit Plus also allow its users to switch between the app and the Audio 20 COMAND via its audio buttons. Among the keys supported by the app are the Sys, Phone, Radio, Silent, Disc and Navi.

The following Mercedes units can be retrofitted with the Drive Kit Plus for the iPhone 5, starting the fifth week of the current calendar year based on the German car portal:

  • A-Class, B-Class W176 / W246
  • C-Class W / S / C 204 (including coupe)
