Mercedes-Benz Surpasses the 2 Million Mark in November Sales

Mercedes-Benz continued its winning streak in the month of November by achieving its 57th record month. The German luxury brand also sold more than two million vehicles from January to the month that just ended. According to Daimler, Mercedes sold 195,698 vehicles in November. The numbers show a 7.5% growth based on a year-over-year comparison. Then for the first eleven months of 2017, the three-pointed star marque sold a total of  2,095,810 units. Mercedes-Benz Posts 55th Record Month in September

Mercedes-Benz sales continued to climb higher as the company ended the ninth month of 2017. The third quarter data also showed a very strong performance in the market for the premium car brand. According to Daimler, Mercedes sold 220,894 luxury vehicles in September. The numbers were up by 4.5 percent compared to the same month of last year. Mercedes-Benz Self-Driving Car: How Far Have They Gone?

The race continues in the bid to produce the world’s first fully-autonomous car. At the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche revealed several updates about their Mercedes-Benz self-driving car project. Two days ago, Zetsche announced that they will start the test drive of the vehicle equipped with their autonomous driving technology. The program is called the “Intelligent World Drive”. All Mercedes-Benz Cars and SUVs To Get Electric Versions By 2022

Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche revealed that all the existing Mercedes-Benz models will get their electric versions by 2022. The company is targeting to offer at least 50 hybrid and full-electric variants going to that deadline. Mercedes-Benz USA confirmed that the production run of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive is at its end. The units of the B-Class after the 2017 model year will no longer offer an electric powertrain. According to Automotive News, the announcement came from the spokesman of the company, Rob Moran. Half-Year Mercedes-Benz Sales Break Company Record

The luxury division of Daimler continues its success when it comes to vehicle deliveries to customers. From January to June of 2017, Mercedes-Benz sales broke the records it set within the company during the previous years. According to Daimler, the early half-year Mercedes-Benz sales of 2017 increased by 13.7% compared to the performance of the brand in the same period of last year.
